Land
Along the North end of the property in the Northeast corner you will find a small field that is surrounded by Burr Oak Creek. This field could be utilized in production agriculture endeavors, as a hay field, or as a food plot for wildlife in the area. Just West of the creek is the gate to the pasture where a small catch pen area lies just beyond the entrance. The North stretch of fence was replaced in recent years with the South run possibly having been done at the same time all of the fences are in good shape and are 4 strand barbed-wire throughout. There is not a power meter associated with the property however, the power line does traverse the North end of the property which may make it possible to add if desired.
The pasture is native grass throughout and will provide excellent forage for grazing cattle. The main water source is a pond on the East side located about one-third of the way down, and it seems as though there may be several springs throughout the timbered draw.
Recreation
With a deep timbered draw traversing the Southern half, this property shows solid evidence of whitetail deer activity throughout. The draw acts as a secure travel route for roaming animals and also appears to host multiple springs that provide pockets of water. Many species of trees are present with elms, burr oaks, and cottonwoods being prevalent, while cedars exist along the edge of the draw and in pockets. In addition, the native grass pasture provides cover for upland bird species like bobwhite quail and a covey of grouse that were witnessed on the property.
