Big, beautiful, healthy Aspen Trees one of my all time favorite trees and people just love them, the Aspen's are in hundreds of thousands growing everywhere on this 150 acre ranch surrounded by National Forest giving you thousand of acres of forest to explore, hunt, hike, animal watch all right from your front door, and have absolute privacy.

Land

Aspen Mountain Ranch is located above Echo Basin just 45 min N of Durango, CO and very close to Cortez and Mancos, CO. The ranch sit from 7200 ft to 9000 + ft and during the summer months 74/76 degrees are the highs and that makes for the most perfect summer days for being in the great outdoors and at night its in the high/mid 50's so burning your large wood fire place is so relaxing and very comfortable way to end your day. There is a nice, clean, cozy cabin that is 1800 sqft with a down stair master and large loft, 2 full bathrooms and an epic fireplace, it's so very quiet and the stars are so incredibly bright up there. The cabin also has a 250 gallon propane tank, full kitchen with the water coming straight from the cleanest spring well you can imagine and you literally can drink right from the sink and its clean and clear fresh water and great tasting, you have a storage building, power is from a generator that runs the lights, would be very simple to install solar and star link the propane runs the refrigerator, dyna-glo heater, the coup de gras stove and has and the on demand hot water heater for endless hot water showers. On the property itself there are a dozens +/- springs that keep 2 ponds full year round which keeps an incredibly array of all kinds of wildlife you can imagine coming to drink, the animals are everywhere and just so peaceful to watch. On the large pond over the big meadow the owner has taken a bull Elk every single year for the last 20 years, same spot every year and he just harvest one a year for the family The property is 30 min up a dirt road that a high clearance vehicle is recommend, however last week I pulled my trailer and side by side up and back with no issues whatsoever just had to go slow, in the winter snowmobile or side by side with tracks would be the only way to get up there but the owner has for many years.so yes can get there in the winter if you wanted These types of property in the nation forest are very rare and extremely popular and there are millions of people that just want to leave the city, crime, traffic, the heat behind for awhile and disappear in the mountains and re charge, but still have all the comforts of home.
