The wildlife is specifically attracted to the property because of the food, water, and seclusion the property offers. All seasons paint a beautiful scene here at the ranch. Fall offers incredible blaze orange aspen tree fall colors and great hunting into the wintertime. The area also has incredible views almost every direction and no neighbors. The mornings here are crisp, making the 900sf cabin & wood burning stove the perfect place to come back to after enjoying a full day in the outdoors. The cabin is currently unfinished but has great bones and large beams already installed. The property is enhanced by a beautiful mountain lake offering great scenery. The lake holds solid brook trout and is great little fishery.
Recreation
Hunting in this area is known to be some of the best in the state for Colorado. Population for mule deer in are great and the quality is excellent. Landowner tags are able to be drawn for mule deer each year with additional tags being able to allotted through the draw. Elk and Bear hunting in this area is also exceptional. Great archery and rifle hunting with tags for elk being over the counter. Elk like the seclusion here. The property also gives you access to thousands of acres of National Forest that is hard to get to for the public. The National Forest access is a huge upside the property has as you can ride/ hunt/ play literally forever. Your closest neighbor is 10 miles.
Location
Long Park Ranch offers direct access on County Road 225, a scenic road as you have views of the Flat Tops and Gore Mountain Ranges. Being within 2.5 hours of Denver makes the ranch short easy drive from the Front Range. Between the towns of Steamboat, Vail and Kremmling. The ranch is accessible in the wintertime via snowmobile.
