Indian Creek Ranch sits on center stage in one of Mother Natures virtuoso performances. This is the heartbeat of Spanish Peaks Country and this handcrafted Lodge is as bold and beautiful as the panorama that surrounds it. The 16,000 square foot custom lodge features impressive high ceilings, oversized picture windows, masterful stonework and massive log timbers. The fully furnished home includes many European antiques and an extensive western art collection. All the common areas of the home are spacious enough for large gatherings yet cozy enough for quiet reflection. Five fireplaces create ambiance and in-floor radiant heat adds a gentle blanket of comfort throughout the home. Ambient light spills into the Master Chefs Kitchen, which features commercial grade appliances, custom cabinetry and solid granite countertops. A historic Royal Charter Oak Dual Range is the rooms centerpiece. Each of the Lodges eight bedrooms have private baths. Four of the Guest Suites encompass over 1000 square feet each and include kitchenettes, living areas, fireplaces and direct outdoor access. Indian Creek Ranch covers 965.9 fenced and cross-fenced acres and includes roughly 140 acres of productive hay fields. Long Summer growing seasons and mild Southern Colorado winters add up to superior year-round grazing. The Ranch has been under the watchful eye of attentive management and proud ownership. The facilities of the working ranch include a newly remodeled three-bedroom Managers Home, a six-stall horse barn, eight loafing sheds, a large workshop, a new equipment barn and multiple outer sheds. A healthy herd of primary select Angus Cattle, additional livestock and all ranch equipment run with the land. The Ranch Manager would like to continue caring for the Ranch that he has grown to love if the new owners desire. In the early days, the Cowboys who worked this ranch were happy to have two squares a day and a roof over their heads. Today, you can still see their names etched in the walls of the historic Lake Cabin. Here, the hustle and bustle of modern living is just over the hill, yet it seems to be a world away. Water is a precious resource in this region and Indian Creek Ranch is blessed with abundance. Excellent water rights from four irrigation ditches and Indian Creek feed an eleven-acre trout lake and a twelve-acre irrigation lake. Drinking water is supplied by a historic artesian well. Water and Mineral Rights run with the land. Trophy hunting and fishing opportunities are plentiful on the ranch and the San Isabel National Forest is just a walk or horseback ride away. The Spanish Peaks and Goemmers Butte rise to the East and the massive Sangre De Cristo Range rises to the West. The views from the ranch are unchanged from centuries past, a virtue that is increasingly rare these days. The Indian Creek Ranch did experience slight damage in the Spring Creek Fire, but the ranch was not adversely affected.
