Several pines, cipres, cedra, chando colorado, roble negro, and cedro grande trees. .!5 hectares (37 acres) have been in pasture, but now is overgrown. Some fencing. 60 hectares ( 148 acres) can be planted in trees for harvest in the future or farmed. The balance is protected forest and protected areas near the streams and springs.
The government environmental agency- MINAET's policy is to preserve the water, watershed areas, and old growth trees. This is the reason why our property can't as a whole be farmed for trees. We are a major watershed area and source for 2 rivers, several springs (both of which you can't cut within a couple hundred feet of) and about 30% old growth. For future reference you will have this same issue for all wilderness type properties. This is one of the reasons why we have only been advertising to people to use this for Sustainable Farming or Carbon Credit programs.
