Details: Elk Haven Ranch is a hideaway within the vast mountain wilderness of Cibola County, New Mexico. This 4,320 acre deeded elk sanctuary is near the quiet village of Ramah. The Cibola National Forest adjoins the northern and western ranch boundaries along a four mile frontier providing access to thousands of acres of national forest land. Elk Haven is near the Ramah Navajo Indian and the Zuni Indian Reservations. Amazing ruins and cliff dwellings of these ancient people are just a few of the spectacular sights viewed while in route to Elk Haven Ranch. The ranch is one of the largest contiguous tracts of deeded land within the New Mexico Game Management Unit 10 core occupied Elk Range. The ranch is improved with a beautiful 1,984 sq. lodge built in 2003. There are 3 bedrooms, large open living/kitchen/dining area with and open loft area. There is also a 1999 Solitaire double wide out fitters home located just at the entrance of the ranch providing over flow accommodations or out fitters stay.
