Wet Weather Calamity Creek runs thru the ranch, there are several areas along the creek with trees that offer more cover and habitat for the local wildlife. Miles of new water lines have been run on the ranch, numerous dirt tanks are spread across the ranch, as well as a 20,000 gallon steel reservoir for water storage. Approx. 35 minutes from Alpine TX, the county seat in Brewster county. Alpine is home to Sul Ross State University, but still maintains a great small town atmosphere with good shopping from small locally owned stores. Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park are both within easy driving distance from the ranch. Ranch has not been hunted in almost 8 years. Water and game feeders are being constantly improved. We're seeing a lot more Mule Deer on the ranch now, and with continued game management the potential for this size ranch being a very nice hunting property will just keep improving.
