the trestle lodge is a masterfully quality constructed timber frame lodge style cabin architecturally designed after a historic fire lookout. it is situated at the end of the road on 10 mountaintop acres bordering hundreds of thousands of acres of us forest service lands that run contiguous to the bob marshall wilderness. the timber frame structure frames the cabin spacious, light, and airy interior, which is completed with nicely finished fir and larch wood flooring, and pine walls and vaulted ceilings. the fire lookout model provides a very open main floor with household furnishings and additional cots which can accommodate additional guests. the lookout type windows give expansive views of the clearwater valley floor, seeley lake the rugged mountain peaks of the mission mountain wilderness as well as dramatic and panoramic in your face views of the swan mountain range and the snowcapped peaks of the bob marshall wilderness. the serenity of this setting is incomparable, the silence amongst nature. watch eagles, mule deer, elk, black bear, and many other wildlife varieties in their natural habitat. winter maintenance/ snow removal on the access road is not provided by the hoa, so access is likely snowcat or snowmobile only.
