Here is your chance to own a good little ranch in a very scenic part of New Mexico. Located 30 minutes from Sierra Blanca ski run and Ruidoso Downs racetrack, home of the All American Futurity, the worlds richest Quarter Horse race. Other nearby attractions include Capitan, NM, home of Smoky the Bear and White Sands National Park, an hour away at Alamogordo, NM. This ranch borders the Valley of Fires Recreation Area, a large ancient volcanic overflow which occurred around 5,000 years ago. This ranch literally takes in a small portion of this ancient overflow.

This ranch has two water wells. One is a hand dug well that has an old windmill tower (not in use) and an electric submersible pump in the other well. There is a permit in place with the Office of the State Engineer to drill another well. There is an old house, (of little value), and a set of old corrals. This ranch is very accessible, being located just off of State Highway 380 and only one mile from Carrizozo, New Mexico.

This ranch would make a great place to have some horses or cattle, while enjoying some of the most awesome scenery and recreation opportunities in the state. This ranch has a good mix of beneficial grasses and browse plants for livestock. As per the owner, the water wells were good producers when they were in use. They have not been used in a number of years.

Carrizozo, NM is the county seat of Lincoln County and a historic railroad town founded in 1899. There are convenience stores and motels in Carrizozo and Ruidoso has nearly any shopping item available.
