This 40+/- acre wooded parcel is located just a half mile north of the Otter Lake in Michigan's Upper Peninsula! A pond and seasonal creek, that runs into the Sturgeon River, is located on the property. This is a well known recreational area - Otter Lake is an 890 acre lake, which is about 29 feet deep. There are rental cabins and a boat launch on the lake which attracts tourists and those fishing for Brook trout, Crappies, Perch, Pumpkinseed sunfish, Rock bass,Smallmouth bass, Steelhead, Northern pike and Walleye! The Sturgeon River Sloughs Wildlife Area of the Copper Country State Forest is also about a mile away, and through it is access to the main North-South Multi-Use State Trail No. 15. Bear, Beaver, Ducks, Geese, Muskrat, Otter, Partridge, Rabbit, Squirrel, Whitetail deer, and Woodcock are often seen near the stream and in the woodlands of this parcel. Trees common in the area include Balsam, Birch, Maple and Pine.

From L'Anse W on US41 toward Chassell & Lft on 7th St, becomes Creamery Rd. Go 1.7 mi to Pike River Rd. Lft & go 6 mi to private rd on the lft. Turn lft to locked gate & continue on rd until sign on tree on the right which is the beginning of the 40-acre parcel. Continue down rd until you come to pink ribbons on either side of the rd which is end of the 40.
