Gitchee Gumee Getaway! This Lake Superior parcel is located on the western shore of the Pointe Abbaye Peninsula, near the Village of Aura, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This historic Finnish farming settlement is now known for the Aura Jamboree, a multi-day musicians picnic, and dance fest. Rarely do you find hundreds of feet of frontage, and 25+/- acres of heavily forested land available, with such easy access! The 336 Square Foot Cabin has a 14x16 mainroom, and an 8x14 area divided into a dressing room and indoor wood fired sauna. There is a boathouse with an upper level sleeping area, that needs some restoration. You can launch your canoe or fishing boat right off the shore. There is abundant fishing in the area on the "Big Lake" and in the many nearby rivers and streams. Hunting is also a favorite pass time in the area, with prevalent sightings of Black bear, Bobcat, Whitetail deer, small game, ruffed grouse and waterfowl. Don't miss the beautiful sunsets!
