The Bear Creek Tract is a 225 acre +/- tract located in Northern Dale County in the Peniel community. This remote tract is secluded and surrounded by large acreage timberland tracts. The timber attributes to the property consist of 125 acres of cutover & 100 acres of big hardwood along the bear creek smz. The pine was recently harvested off of the property within the last year, the cutover acreage is high and dry and would be an excellent site for reforestation or conversion to pastureland. The hardwood bottom is mostly comprised of old growth timber inside of the smz, it is filled with white oaks, red oaks, poplar, gum, and magnolia. In many places along the creek the understory is open due to the large canopy shading out brushy competition.

Whitetail deer and Wild Turkey sign on the tract are not in short supply, nearly every food plot and internal trail have deer & turkey frequenting the area. There are several prime areas in the cutover that set up perfect for large acreage food plots/fields along the hardwood edges.
