This is about 69 miles southeast of El Paso, and about 12 miles southwest of Sierra Blanca, the county seat. Interstate Highway I-10 is about 5 miles to the north and the Rio Grande River is less than 4 miles to the southwest. The elevation rises gently to the east toward the mountains, and there are arroyos throughout the area. A good trail road runs near the property.

Around here we're big on properties with mountain views, and you can't do much to top this one. Elevation of the property is around 3,914 feet above sea level, and you are less than 4 miles from the highest point of the scenic Quitmans, at 6,689 feet. The parcel is approximately 26.04 acres, 1,304.445 feet by 869.63 feet. This is over 1,134,384 square feet. That is the area of almost 20 football fields including their end zones. It would take you over 4/5 of a mile just to walk around the perimeter of this parcel.

There is an access easement along the east side of this property, which is also the east side of the section. There are also access easements along the perimeters of adjacent sections.

We have been told that you cannot drive to this property from the south, as someone has blocked that trail with a locked gate. You might be able to come to the property from the north, going south from Interstate 10 at either 31.192577 -105.532699 or 31.199360 -105.518241. We are not able to drive there ourselves, you will need to determine for yourself whether access to the property is adequate for your needs.
