This Man Made Lake is located in a 34+ acre wooded parcel in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Once an Open Pit Iron Mine, this narrow gorge is now filled with crystal clear water, and is estimated to be about 20' deep - great for small water craft boating or swimming. There are tree covered slopes along the lakes edge, and there is mixed terrain in the remainder of the parcel with many nice, high, possible building sites. This parcel has a very private feeling, but it is only a short drive in, from a year-round maintained County Road. Electric and Phone is available along this road. The main east-west Snowmobile Trail No. 8 is about two miles away. A gas-grocery convenience store, bar-restaurants, and unique shops are a few miles away in historic Michigamme. Trees Common In The Area Include: American basswood, Balsam fir, Bigtooth aspen, Black cherry, Eastern hemlock, Quaking aspen, Red maple, Sugar maple, Whitespruce, and Yellow Birch. This parcel just must be seen to be appreciated.
