Boulder MT is located in Jefferson County only 30 minutes from Butte and Helena.

Butte is the 5th largest city in Montana. Known as the richest hill on earth, Butte began as a gold and silver mining camp. As technology progressed and electricity was developing across America, Butte shifted mining to Copper. At one time Butte produced over 25 of the worlds Copper. Many reminants of Butte's mining past are still visible today including 14 mining headframes and one of the largest historic districts in the Us.

Head up to Great Divide Ski Area just northwest of town for your winter sports get away.
