Overview - Solitude Springs Ranch is a 300+- acre high country paradise located just 12 miles South of Gypsum CO/ I-70 corridor and just 45 minutes from Vail, CO. This classic high mountain property has incredible topography, water and habitat for big game animals. With a picturesque Colorado landscape, multiple springs and creeks, and expansive private national forest boundary, this property is hard to beat for its size as a premier wildlife sanctuary.

Land - With elevations ranging from 8,000 - 8,600 ft and 1 mile of private National Forest Boundary, the land is truly special. From the massive aspen groves to the spruce trees and grass meadows, the land embodies remarkable habitat for big game. Multiple creeks and springs, as well as a pond presents plenty of water for the wildlife. Current improvements include quality wildlife fencing along the perimeter, two old cabin structures used for storage, a great interior access road and a carved out building spot overlooking the Sawatch Mountains. The balance of water, feed, and cover gives big game animals the ultimate home. Elk, Mule Deer, Bear and much more call this forest home. Fall is an incredible time of year at the ranch, as the aspen leaves being to change to vibrant orange and the elk begin to sing.

Wildlife/Hunting - Solitude Springs Ranch has every attribute of a productive hunting property, particularly for elk, deer and bear. The ranch is fortunate enough to have incredible elk habitat and is located in GMU 44 a densely populated elk. The ranch hosts both local and migratory elk which can be regularly seen and harvested each year, all the way from archery through the end of rifle season. It is in an over the counter elk unit so the tags are easy to obtain. Mule deer hunting in Unit 44 is known to produces some of the best Mule Deer in the state and the ranch qualifies for landowner tags each year. Bear tags are over the counter too. In addition, snowmobiling, hiking, horseback riding and ATV trails are endless in this area.

Location/ Access - The ranch is within 45 minutes of the Vail CO, 15 minutes to Gyspum/ I70 corridor and 3 hours from Denver, CO. Solitude Springs Ranch is easy to access via Gypsum Creek road which is maintianed in the summer and plowed in the wintertime. Accessing the property in the winter wouldn't be to hard, being only 1 mile off the county road. With a good trail system it is easy to get around and enjoy the ranch. To top it all off the landscape here is certainly the epitome of Colorado, and is truly breathtaking.
