The ranch is fortunate enough to have incredible elk habitat and is located in GMU 44 a densely populated elk. The ranch hosts both local and migratory elk which can be regularly seen and harvested each year, all the way from archery through the end of rifle season. It is in an over the counter elk unit so the tags are easy to obtain. Mule deer hunting in Unit 44 is known to produces some of the best Mule Deer in the state and the ranch qualifies for landowner tags each year. Bear tags are over the counter too. In addition, snowmobiling, hiking, horseback riding and ATV trails are endless in this area.

Location/ Access - The ranch is within 45 minutes of the Vail CO, 15 minutes to Gyspum/ I70 corridor and 3 hours from Denver, CO. Solitude Springs Ranch is easy to access via Gypsum Creek road which is maintianed in the summer and plowed in the wintertime. Accessing the property in the winter wouldn't be to hard, being only 1 mile off the county road. With a good trail system it is easy to get around and enjoy the ranch. To top it all off the landscape here is certainly the epitome of Colorado, and is truly breathtaking.
