The Jack Ranch is in a great quality area for deer, antelope and elk in hunting unit 4. The ranch qualifies for deer and antelope vouchers on an annual basis and elk are over the counter. There are approximately 250 acres of landlocked BLM lands bordering the ranch for additional hunting and recreation opportunities. There are trails traversing through the draws and up and down the ridge tops. The ranch consist of mature cottonwood trees oak brush and service berry ensuring great cover for wildlife. There are several great building sites to capture the views of the Slater Valley and Slater Creek below.
The ranch is located approximately 2 miles south of CR 2. Approximately 25 minutes to the town of Bagg's, Wyoming and 1 hour and 15 minutes to the town of Craig, Colorado. The Routt National Forest is within 25 minutes entering into Ryan Park and California Park. The Medicine Bow National Forest if within 25 minutes.
