Byron Founder Farm
Cloud Peak Road : Byron, WY 82412
Big Horn County, Wyoming
Farm Description
The Byron Founder Farm is located just northwest of Byron, Wyoming. Byron is a smaller community known for its friendly atmosphere and community events that draw people from all over the region. The farm was originally owned by the family who the town of Byron was named after. The Byron Founder Farm is pivot irrigated with a pivot that is newer and in excellent condition. The irrigation water has an excellent water source, the Sidon Canal, that runs along the northern property boundary. The pivot runs off electricity. The cropland is located on a hill that slopes down into a level area that has recently had drains put in to help drain the soil. Wyoming is currently taking the steps necessary to produce hemp and hope to be able to grow hemp by 2020. This property would be ideal for hemp production. The property is located in an area with excellent pheasant and deer hunting with Byron Lake located just west of this property which brings wildlife and waterfowl through the area. There is a stand of trees on the property that would be perfect for a deer stand. It is located just east of Cody, Wyoming (Yellowstone National Park) and south of Billings, Montana at the top of the State of Wyoming. There is a 4-bedroom house located on the property that is in good condition and has excellent views of the surrounding mountain ranges from the deck. A two-car garage will keep your vehicles warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The home and 3 +/- acres can be sold separately subject to a survey.
