Farm Description
Copper Station Farms is a revenue producing blueberry farm located in McIntosh County, Georgia that totals 1,055 acres. There are approximately 39 acres of planted Highbush- Springhigh, Emerald, and Jewel- that has overhead frost protection includes a pond and two pumps.
About 167 acres of the farm is planted Rabbiteye- Alapaha, Premier, and Vernon. There are also four irrigation wells and fertigation systems.
A 24,456 square foot packing shed is in place to make distribution of the product easier. The packing shed includes 1 fresh pack line- A & B equipment with a 12 cup evolution clamshell filler, two pre-coolers, a 5,400 +/- square foot cold storage room, a dry storage area, a break room, and office space. An equipment storage building is also on the property and it includes a shop, break room, and offices. Equipment includes three machine harvesters (2 Korvan 8000S and a BEI track machine), five small tractors, implements for farm and road maintenance, multiple RTVs and ATVs, and farm vehicles.
