First you will see multiple areas of great cover consisting of dense cedars, tall bedding grass and mature hardwood timber. Not to move the highlight from deer to turkey but every spring the toms roost in the mature walnut groves in the creek bottom and every morning fly down and strut on top of the ridge. Even with turkey numbers being down across the state this farm consistently holds many toms every year.
