Perfect for our Cousins, trip. 5 of 5 Stars
My cousin and I visited for a week with 4 of our children 15 to 20 years old. Poppy Cabin 5 was the perfect spot for us. When we pulled up the driveway and saw the view, my son's reaction was, Wow, I wasn't expecting this, It's stunning.
Everything about our stay was great. Our host's welcoming and relaxed personality got us off to a great start while the well appointed cabin allowed for great family dinners and really special time together. with quick, easy access to amazing fishing in all directions,
We're already planning next year's trip and are looking forward to staying at Cabins on the Bluff again.
Room Tip It's a cabin. So pick the best room for you before your companions do,
Amazing Cabin and Location 5 of 5 Stars
You think, cabin, Okay I need to get some of the essentials.
Not at Cabins on the Bluff. Wonderful amenities in the kitchen, bath.pizza stone, baking and frying equipment, fire pit for roasting marshmallows and gas grill/. We left items behind for the next adventurers. So, go first to the cabin and see what is there, then go to the grocery store. Eventually there are plans for a washer and dryer in two of the cabins for long stay guests.
The view is beyond amazing. Cook Inlet--two volcanoes. Chuck and Julie were wonderful hosts. The cabins are in a great spot to explore All of the Kenai pennisula.
Will we recommend to others, Yes. We did not want to leave and we have already given out cards to those we met at meals outside the cabin and on tours.
One of the most amazing things---getting up at 4 45 am and looking outside and seeing an amazing rainbow across Mount Illiamna. We are planning an extended stay in the next few years. Hooray for Home Away and the commercials Superbowl Day.

Let me paint the picture about how Awesome these cabins are - Right in front of the cabins is the ocean off of cook's inlet.
Here's the cool part - during low tide, water recedes by about a mile. People come with all sorts of gear to pull clam out of the sand. I just loved standing and staring at the clam reapers sipping on my coffee. On clear days, we actually saw two volcanoes.
All the rooms were super-clean and super-new. Well stocked kitchen. Our GPS could not find the address, so, the owner actually stayed on the phone until we found the place.
These cabins were so much fun and serene, I wanted to cancel the rest of our Alaskan plans and just stay here. Definitely will be back,
