There are approximately 132 acres on the north side of Highway 183 and about 71 acres on the south side. A good internal network of roads and trails leads throughout the property. There is a small dirt and gravel pit on the property that can provide enough material to help maintain the interior roads. The southeast corner of the property borders the Talladega National Forest, giving you the opportunity to hunt over 1,000 more acres of public use land right there. The camp house is small, but has seen some updates over the past 2-3 years. It is serviced by power and well water.

Much of the older hardwoods are on the south side of the property. The pines appear to be planted in some places, and there also appears to be natural stands of older pine timber. The property offers opportunities to bow hunt in the woods and gun hunt the fields. A small stream flows on the very western edge of the tract, and there is a small stream and wetland area on the southern portion of the property. The property lies in the northeast corner of Perry County, near where it meets Chilton and Bibb Counties. The property is an easy drive to bigger cities, and lies 50 miles southeast of Tuscaloosa and about 60 miles south of Birmingham.
